1951 | Appointed as the single measuring institute for major freight conferences in Pacific, Atlantic, and Europe routes. | |
1955 | Opened our Physical-chemical Laboratory | |
1957 | Approved by the Minister of Transportation as a public corporation to inspect hazardous cargo according to the Regulation for the Carriage and Storage of Dangerous Goods by Ships. | |

1964 | Assigned by the Minister of Transportation as an institute permitted to measure moisture in fine power mines, based on the grain and other special cargo ocean vessel transportation regulations. | |

1980 | Signed the Japan China Trade Commodities Inspection Mutual agreement with China Export/Import Commodity Inspection Co., Ltd. | |
1987 | Opened a local corporation NKKK(Taiwan) Ltd. , in Taipei as a joint venture. Assigned by the Director General of Maritime Safety Agency as an approved institute to specify and check marine pollutions, based on the Marine Pollution and Marine Disaster Prevention Law. | |

1999 | Approved as an institute to measure the density of bulk and solid cargoes by the Minister of Transportation, based on the ocean vessel facility regulation and the ordinance that revised a part of this regulation. | |
2002 | Certified and registered QMS (ISO9001:2000). Additionally registered services: Inspection of loading in ocean containers, inspections based on the ocean vessel safety law, and check operations based on Marine Pollution and Marine Disaster Prevention Law. |
