NKKK is registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to carry out the inspection of stowage of dangerous goods on board ships, based on the Regulations for the Carriage and Storage of Dangerous Goods by Ships.

　NKKK is registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to carry out the inspection of packing of dangerous goods in containers, based on the Regulations for the Carriage and Storage of Dangerous Goods by Ships.

　NKKK is registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to carry out Transportable Moisture Limit (TML) and Moisture Content (MC) determination testing of cargoes which may liquefy, and to inspect the stowage of cargoes which may liquefy on board ships, based on the Regulations for the Carriage of Grain and Other Special Cargoes in Ships (IMSBC Code).

　NKKK is registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, to carry out density determination testing of solid bulk cargoes, based on the Regulations for Ship Sub-division.

　NKKK has been appointed by the Commandant of the Japan Coast Guard to carry out the verification of the operation for processing noxious liquid substances of category X, based on the Law relating to the Prevention of Marine Pollution and Maritime Disaster (Annex II of MARPOL 73/78).

　NKKK holds training courses and seminars on the regulations for safe transport of dangerous goods in packaged form by sea.

　NKKK has committees for dealing with matters relating to the affairs of IMO and United Nations, and carries out investigation and research into safe transport of the dangerous goods and special cargoes by sea.

　NKKK provides information and knowledge regarding the regulations obtained from our investigation and research into the safe transport of dangerous goods and special cargoes by sea.
