We carry out general and special analyses of various kinds of samples including crude oil and LNG; petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, gas oil, fuel oil and lubricants; and bio fuels such as gasoline containing ethanol or ETBE, diesel fuel containing fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) and wood pellets. Analysis methods we employ conform not only to typical domestic standards, including JIS, but also to various international standards, including ASTM, ISO, etc. As an organization registered under the Law for Quality Assurance of Petroleum Products by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), we carry out tests required when fuels such as gasoline, kerosene and diesel are sold domestically at service stations. Based on our long and wide experience in the field, often with experiments and research, we are able to offer detailed advice on how quality and trouble may result when fuels are blended. Upon request, we offer special training sessions, lectures and seminars regarding the subjects stated above. |

Moisture Analyzer |

Water (sea water, rain water) contamination and water wetness are a big problem in maritime transport of cargo. Moreover, even during transportation, there is a possibility that water may be mixed in while cargo is stored, and it is the minimum quality control item. In order to cope with these problems related to water, we developed an explosion-proof portable moisture analyzer "NK 3" (patented) that can measure moisture on the spot. Since NK 3 is used for explosion-proof measurements, it is possible to measure in the hazardous area or the on-site on the storage tank. In this device, it is possible to simultaneously measure not only moisture but also temperature and depth, and also has a logger function and sample collection function. |

We carry out analyses required in contracts of import/export trading, in quality management of products, and in the investigation of the cause of problems with products. Analyses are carried out on organic chemical products, including primary materials, intermediates and final products, and on inorganic chemical products, including chemical fertilizers. Analysis methods we employ conform not only to typical domestic and international standards such as JIS, ASTM, ISO, but also to other standards. With our long and wide experience in the field of chemical analysis, we have developed and performed our own analysis methods to meet the requirements of our clients. We have recently started tests for risk evaluation of cargoes during ocean shipment, and tests for classifying samples in accordance with lows. |

We analyze steel, iron, non- ferrous, ferroalloy and mineral products. We generally analyze them according to the JIS, ISO, ASTM, etc. standards, but when there is no relevant standard, we make full use of learned know-how and analyze samples using wet analysis（gravimetric method, titrimetric method, absorptiometry）, atomic absorption analysis, ICP method and X-ray method. |

We carry out analyses to find out the cause of problems with products, such as to identify foreign matter and odor in products, to investigate changes shape or quality of products, to determine the product quality, and to verify if complaints concern products are justified. We test for and analyze Hazardous substances, including metals such as “Lead, Cadmium, Chrome, Arsenic and Mercury”. It is important for scrap dealers to certify that scrap does not include any hazardous substance given on the “Basel Convention list”. In addition, we analyze PCB and assess the usable life of dielectric oil. |
